Unread Messages

Many MSFer's have contacted me in the last few weeks concerned emails they had sent were not being read by their recipients. 

First of all, it is very normal to see some unread mail in your 'sent' mailbox and it happens to everybody on the site. Don't be disheartened by this, it can happen for a number of reasons. For example, the recipient may be:

- Away, on holiday or business, and unable to go to their inbox.
- In between payments to MSF, therefore unable to read messages in their inbox.
- Busy; some MSFer's may be too busy to check their MSF mail daily.

Also, not all MSFer's are paid up members and free profiles are seen online just like any other profile. Although free profiles cannot send messages they are able to receive messages, see who they are from, and can upgrade later on to read them. 

All members on searches are "active" as inactivity for 4 months results in a profile being removed from searches. To make sure you are contacting the most active members our searches are ordered by a 'last logged in' system, putting the most active members at the top.

In order do do well on MSF, keep on sending those messages! Don't be put off by some unread mail, the more mail you send, the more you will receive. For more personal dating advice, contact me by clicking here.
