Need attention? Try the 10 day test

I'm sometimes approached by MSFers who are concerned they're not getting enough attention.

However, when I look at their accounts I can see that they aren't sending any messages! This is so frustrating!

There's just one simple rule when it comes to your inbox folks - one needs to send mail to receive mail. How else will someone find you?

So, if you find yourself wanting more attention I'd like you to set yourself a tried and tested task....

10 messages to 10 members for 10 days, simple!

I guarantee that sending 10 messages, to 10 members for 10 days will improve your experience. This exercise will get you used to 'throwing' yourself out there, flex your writing muscles and liven up your inbox activity.

If you've been reading my Advice posts, I hope you've now grasped what makes a great photo and you've considered what to write in your opening message. Have a read of my general advice too, as those tips are pretty useful. The only other thing to do is to actually send those messages!

When you perform a search, looking for appropriate matches for you, how many members appear? If you can see no-one (or very few people) you want to send mail to, you need to read these two posts:

This 10 day task can greatly improve anyone's time on MSF, I've witnessed it work for many MSFers.

Any feedback? Let me know.
