A Beautiful Engagement

MSFer Charlotte has been in touch to tell us about meeting her fiancé Will on mysinglefriend.com, and share some lovely photos from the couple's recent engagement party.

"I hadn't had any friends who had done the MSF thing when I joined, but saw I had to take control of my situation and future and have a go."

A very long lunch indeed
"We met in a local pub on a Saturday lunchtime and didn't leave 'til well after 5pm. We found we had similar interests in food, wine, travel, reading and in our backgrounds as I'm from a family of four daughters and he is from a family of four sons. We found we had the ability to be ourselves around each other from day one."

From the Jazz Cafe to Istanbul
"Our second date was in the Jazz Cafe, we saw an African American band which I had tickets too and on our third date Will cooked me supper in his flat. Which was a gastronomic delight I recall!

He then joined me for a weekend in Istanbul where I was at a work conference. A weekend away early on was the right thing for us and it felt like just the right thing to do at the time."

Wedding bells...
"The wedding is next May and we'll be celebrating with a marquee in my parents garden, Indian style, with curry. Looking to the future we've talked about getting both a Labrador and a goat. If we are lucky enough we'd love some children too!"
