Success story: Becca and Paul

What's going on this weekend? It's the Baftas tomorrow night, which may well be worth a watch if you're a bit of a film buff, and, apparently, the cold weather will be continuing, so maximum layers will be required for all. But today we've got that Friday feeling and that means it's time for another mysinglefriend.com success story. Becca and Paul, take it away...

"We were both a bit sceptical about online dating before we joined the site. Neither of us were even looking for a relationship really!" Becca told us. "I was added to the site by my sister who decided that I couldn't be trusted to choose boys for myself anymore and Paul was added by a friend of his who couldn't understand why he was still single.

"Our first date was a little unusual as we met in a car park! Paul didn't know the city where I was living very well so I tried to think of somewhere that he'd be able to find easily. We didn't really have a plan of what we'd do when we met but we ended up going for a very long walk, followed by tea and cake, a bit more of a walk and then dinner, ending with Paul scraping the ice off my car windscreen for me (ever the gentleman!). I think the date lasted about ten hours!

Apart from our shared love of tea and cake, we found that we have a very similar 'happy go lucky' outlook on life. We just clicked from the first message on MSF really - we made each other smile. 

We're not planning on getting married at the moment, but we both moved and bought a house together within commuting distance of jobs and got the keys on August (nine months after we met!) and we're concentrating on getting it all decorated and just how we want it. The house and our dog Maisy are keeping us busy enough for now!"
