Here’s one we weren’t expecting – there’s now a play about……..you guessed it...... mysinglefriend – and of course internet dating.
Having been a huge success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Online Courting is a fantastic smash hit comedy now showing at the Hen and Chickens Theatre in Islington, London.
Ruby Miller, playwright and actor, has based the story on real life experiences, gained through talking with friends who used mysinglefriend to court partners. This leads to a hilariously realistic account of life on and off an internet dating website and efforts to find that someone special.
To celebrate this unmissable play about the one and only mysinglefriend we’re lucky enough to be holding a very special singles night next Weds 27th April where you can come and meet other singles and watch the play together. What’s more mysinglefriend creator Sarah Beeny herself will be there to watch the show and say hi.
What more could you ask for? Great play, single people, Sarah Beeny and a load of laughs…..the lead male (James Robinson) also starred as the junior Mel Gibson in Braveheart - see if you can spot it though :)
