Blue Monday
Today, apparently, is the most depressing day of the year. A combination of weather, debt, time since Christmas, low motivational levels and other miserable bits and pieces have conspired to make it so. There's even a formula for it, look:

This seems a bit unhelpful to us. If it is the most depressing day of the year, then the last thing you want to add to it is maths. In order to combat this misery/maths onslaught here's a little list of things to be happy about today.
1. Christmas is well and truly over. Love it or loathe it Christmas is a bit frantic. It's good to be back in the groove of a new year.
2. It's good film season. Get down the cinema because all the best films are on this time of year. We've currently got The King's Speech, 127 Hours and Black Swan amongst many goodies.
3. The nights are drawing out. It might not feel like it today but it's getting darker later. Spring is on its way (slowly).
4. It's not snowing anymore. It looked beautiful but was quite annoying.
5. There are loads of lovely new singles on mysinglefriend.com. So get mailing and dating!
