This summer London's Southbank Centre is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Festival of Britain which took place on the newly created Southbank in 1951. One of the highlights will be a Vintage Weekend taking place from Friday 29th to Sunday 30th of July, where punters are encouraged to dress up for a glamorous weekend of music, fashion, film, art, dance and design. If you're looking for a place to take a date, this will impress the bejeesus out of them (warn them about the dressing up bit in advance though).

The past wasn't all jollity and dancing though, just look at Woody in the video below struggling with the subtle art of asking someone out. Is it just us or did he essentially say the same thing every time? That Anne is one tricky customer. Thank heavens for online dating!
