Join the Bank Holiday Dating Extravaganza!

It's Red Nose Day!
As you probably know the brilliant Red Nose Day is back for its biennial television spectacular and is aiming to raise millions of pounds to help transform the lives of people in the UK and across Africa. We imagine there's all sorts of riotous fun going down today in workplaces across the country, or perhaps just a sober dress-drown Friday, but we hope you'll be pledging plenty of money to this fantatsic cause. Now, because we're fans of dating and flirting and, of course, a bit of kissing, we'd like to celebrate the day with this classic clip of the very lucky Dawn French giving Hugh Grant a right royal snog.

Nigella does us all a favour and refuses to be airbrushed
There's a rather cheering story doing the rounds at the moment about Nigella Lawson and her refusal to be airbrushed. The mighty Nigella is about to join US TV cookery comptition 'The Taste', which she describes as "...The Voice, with cooking", and is currently embroiled in all the promotional palaver that follows, including giant billboard posters all over America. So far, so usual, but Nigella has thrown a spanner in the works, and raised a cheer from all right-thinking food fans everywhere, by refusing to allow ABC, the company making The Taste, to airbrush her image.

So, you've eaten our body weight in Celebrations, you've drunk a river of varying types of booze and experienced a selection of hangovers, you've opened all of your presents and now you're in that slightly odd no man's land betwixt Christmas and New Year. What to do?
