A little bit of philiosophical thought to start the week, courtesy of Esther...

I guess I should start by expounding my philosophy on the wearing of matching socks. This is no mere character flaw, but is rather a way of life. It has long been my firmly held belief that there are two types of person in this world: those who wear matching socks and those who do not. If you are of the former camp, you will most likely have already stopped reading. If you are of the latter, you will also from time to time: leave your keys in the front door; bend the spine of your books to make them easier to hold open; not get round to changing your tax code for over a year; get crumbs on your shoulder when you eat; leave your cash in the ATM; as well as a multitude of other scatterbrained things. No matter how hard you try, you will never be of the matching sock ilk. You just don't have it in you. And who could blame you? Life is just too short for hunting around that elusive matching sock.
