Profile of the week: Alex

mysinglefriend.com is awash with brilliant profiles. They may be funny, clever, sincere, strange or just have a really great photo but something will make them stand out. In a new weekly feature we're going to be choosing the best profile we've seen over the last week and sharing it with all of you. But this isn't a one way street; if you've seen a really good profile or even if you'd like to nominate your own, you can get in touch with us at blog@mysinglefriend.com and tell us all about it.

This week we were particularly taken with Alex's response:

Click to view Alex's dating profileThank you Sarah for your kind words, it’s always interesting to find out how other people see you.

I’ve been looking to make the first move onto the property ladder and have at last been able to translate the jargon. For example: “open plan living” - cooking, washing and lounging in the smallest room we could get away with and “well proportioned” – all the rooms are pokey.

Applying estate agent logic this is how Sarah is actually describing me:

a family type – mummy’s boy
an outdoors type – not house trained
loves a debate – stubborn and bloody minded
intelligent, - uses long words when being stubborn and bloody minded
outgoing – annoying
enthusiastic about life – annoyingly happy
possible marriage material – wants to get a ring on your finger within a year
sporty – tries all sports, good at none
thoughtful - doesn’t always leave the toilet seat up
well travelled – can find a Big Mac meal even in deepest darkest Peru

If this sounds like what you’re looking for and you’re not an estate agent (or you happen to be selling a 2 bed flat with easy parking in the Bristol area) drop me a message!
