Profile of the Week: David

mysinglefriend.com is awash with brilliant profiles. They might be funny, clever, sincere, strange or just have a really great photo, but something will make them stand out. Each week we're going to be picking our favourite profile and sharing it with all of you. We've got just two words to say about David: Total. Catch.

"David has boundless energy and enthusiasm and this is often channelled into going to gigs, making art, cycling, cooking, walking and reading. All of which he does incredibly well, although he does fall off his bike from time to time. David is also a fantastic conversationalist and manages to engage with just about everyone he meets, of all ages and on all levels.

When David asked me to write this I said yes because he really deserves to be with someone special, and I also thought it would be an easy task... Well I was right about the someone special part but fast realised that writing about someone you care for is not as easy as you might think. In search of assistance I asked those around me to describe David and got the following; "he likes drawing", "he's respectful", "he's cheerful and cute", "He loves books", "He has a sweet tooth", "He can make you laugh", "He goes on slides with me (my 3 year old said that)", "He's very trustworthy". I would add that as a friend he is loyal and fantastic company. And he owns 29 shirts.

When I asked my partner the type of person she thought David should meet, she said that in German there is a saying that translates as "he needs someone to steal horses with". I guess the closest in english is 'a partner in crime' but is nowhere near as romantic. David, being an old fashioned romantic needs someone to steal horses with."
