Profile of the week: Ruth
mysinglefriend.com is awash with brilliant profiles. They might be funny, clever, sincere, strange or just have a really great photo, but something will make them stand out. Each week we're going to be picking our favourite profile and sharing it with all of you. But this isn't a one way street; if you've seen a really good profile or even if you'd like to nominate your own, you can get in touch with us at blog@mysinglefriend.com and tell us all about it.
We're starting this year's batch of Profile of the Week's off with a poem courtesy of the lovely Ruth and her lyrical friends.
"There once was a girl called Ruth, Who thought herself rather a sleuth
But she couldn't find, A man who was kind
And who wasn't repulsively uncouth
Even though her gentle heart was aching, She found time for cross-stitch and baking
This gave her a lift, And is surely a gift
For the one man who gets her all quaking
Being a big fan of Jesus… and various delectable cheeses
She plays the flute, And hunts for loot
And now seeks a gentleman who pleases
So dear are her family and friends, Her patience for whom never ends
Ever gentle and fair, In her nature to care
Such qualities her character lends
Tonight this lovely young nurse, Instead of a moan and a curse
Had some wine, And sent us online
To create this informative verse
So if you're the right man for her, And ye be neither a cad nor a cur
Then click on her ad , (She's really not bad!)
And true love might henceforth occur!"
We think this is the best profile-in-rhyme that we've ever seen of MSF - so kudos to Ruth's mates. If you'd like to find out a bit more about Ruth and get in touch with her, click to view her dating profile.
