Please do read the guidelines folks

Tuesday, 6 May 2008

Hi MSFers

Some fangled reporting shows us that the blog is getting quite popular (yay!), however we also noticed that the 'guidelines' section of MSF is the least popular page.

The safety of the community is paramount, and only you can make sure you plan your dates safely. So, we'd like to remind you/nag you to look at the guidelines please.

Here's a quick refresher in the meantime...

- Please don't give out too many personal details in your emails

- Dont set up a date at your work or home

- Never take a date home after a first date (or the second for that matter!)

- Don't get in a car with or accept a lift with your date

- Don't give out your home address, an email address that uses your first and last name or your work email address.

Please remember that you may be meeting a total stranger. Take the care you would normally take when meeting strangers - tell someone where you are going, who you are meeting, plan getting to and from your date independently and always watch your drink.

Lastly - you've had your second date, it's time to find out more. Please make sure you are feeling comfortable (even with their intentions!) before piling on in there please!
