Bowled Over

Tom and Toni met on mysinglefriend.com earlier this year and have written in to share their tale.

"We've nearly done all the meet and greets," writes ex-MSFer Tom, "with major family members ticked off and friends consulted the relationship is now suitably endorsed.

I was put on the site by a friend from work who was keen to get me dating, but I think she might have also been using me as a guinea pig before taking the leap herself. Having friends do the hard work was the big pull for me as it is very hard to write the 'nice' stuff about oneself.

My first date with Toni was amazing! Although, whilst waiting for Toni to arrive, I wrongly identified another girl as her. I was very relieved, in fact bowled over, when the 'real' Toni arrived and was more beautiful than I was prepared for. 

We then talked away for the rest of the evening, barely pausing for breath and behaving like two reunited friends. This was largely due to two weeks of messages and texts but, more than that, we just clicked and she got exactly where I was coming from. 

This whole process has been life-changing, and despite my early reservations of internet dating, I have found the love of my life - so thank you."
