Lucky In Long Distance Love

Meet Peter and Elizabeth, our latest very happy and soon to be married couple.

"I was persuaded by my lovely daughter that love wouldn't just knock on the door or magically appear," says Elizabeth. "I needed to open up to other possibilities and opportunities. MSF proved a fun, easy site to use and it's a great idea having a friend's 'personality testimony'. Yolanda's description of Peter was amazingly accurate."

"Our first meeting was for coffee in Chelsea as we were both in London for business; quickly followed by another coffee or two the next day. We did just 'click' (not only because we both prefer soya lattes), natural, easy conversation and a warm relaxed feeling. They say you just know and I have to say that, though it had not happened to me before, I just knew."

The only difficulty was that they live rather a long way away from each other, Elizabeth in Cheshire and Peter in Devon. But they didn't let it stop them: they now simply move between the two places.

"We would advise people to look outside of their 'areas' as love isn't always geographically convenient but certainly well worth the travelling" says Peter. "If the intention and commitment are there all obstacles - even 254.2 miles - can be overcome. As Rumi said 'a strong intention can make two oceans the width of a blanket'".

The  happy pair are due to be married next summer in Devon. Many congratulations to them both! For more success stories, click here.
