Success story: Ben and Sarah

We expect that Ben and Sarah, our latest happy couple, agree with this maxim...

"Our first date was at a wine merchant and wine bar in London's Borough Market," says Ben. "I'd selected it not just because it was conveniently near to my office but also because I hoped the elegance of the old and unusual wines lining the walls would rub off on me. Maybe it did, because things went well!

We shared some bread and cheese and a bottle of red wine. Conversation flowed too, occasionally assisted by me sneaking off to consult my list of things to tell Sarah!

At 10pm the staff were closing up but we weren't quite ready to finish our date, so we settled on a nearby pub and both enjoyed a dram of whisky. I told Sarah I'd love to see her again and happily she felt the same.

We parted company at the station with an ever-so-slightly lingering kiss on the cheek and I went off to my train with a skip in my step!"
