Success Story: Greg and Lori
Another week, another happy couple. Today we'd like to introduce you to Greg and Lori who got in touch to let us know about their new found happiness.
"I've always been skeptical about online dating," Lori told us. "I've generally met partners at bars and clubs and, prior to joining MSF, thought internet dating was for a certain type of person - perhaps those who are too busy with their career to meet the 'traditional' way. After my last relationship ended I realised that it does get harder to meet single people the older you get so I decided I had to broaden my horizons!"
"Our first date was awesome, " says Greg. "I was worried that a sober date in broad daylight might be weird but from the moment we met it was clear that we were very comfortable in each other's company and as soon as she left I couldn't wait to see her again."
"I was very impressed that Greg had thought so hard about where to take me, " says Lori. "I don't drink, so the obvious option of of going to a bar wasn't the best choice of venue for our first date. He emailed me with three choices of venue and asked me to pick one; I had mentioned I was an animal lover on my profile so naturally I chose a visit to London Zoo. A day at the zoo turned into dinner and then a couple of drinks and I was genuinely dissapointed to leave London to get back home for a night out with my friends! The date ended with a very romantic kiss on the train platform (well, Greg on the platform, me on the train!) and I knew I was keen to see him again."
And as for wedding bells? "To be talking about marriage after four months sounds insane but I think when you know, you know," says Greg. "Watch this space." "Is it mental that we've discussed our dream wedding?" asks Lori. "Probably, but then I've never been one to do things by halves. Two words: Vegas and Elvis. Oh yeah."
We're looking forward to seeing those pictures. Many congratulations to Greg and Lori from all of us here at mysinglefriend.com.
