Superlambanana success story

A superlambananaWe were perplexed when Sarah and Luke introduced us to the Superlambanana. For those of you not in the know, we've helpfully illustrated their success story with a picture of one. Sarah and Luke can explain in more detail...

"Our first date was Superlambanana spotting in Liverpool," says Sarah. "We met outside Luke's workplace - with his colleagues pretending not to notice through the windows - then strolled our way around the city centre in the summer sunshine, spotting Superlambananas and stopping for tea and cake at one of the cathedrals. Superlambananas were an art exhibit of 100 or so uniquely painted sculptures that were subsequently auctioned for charity. Happily, many are still in Liverpool."

"Sarah's subscription had lapsed when my message came through," continues Luke. "Fortunately my profile, previously ignored (and even mocked!) on account of a very dodgy mugshot, was found to be sufficiently endearing to justify the expenditure.

I managed to make Sarah laugh and smile on our first date, despite Sarah being quite tearful about her cat being in kitty intensive care. I thought Sarah was sweet and lovely and seemed to be genuinely interested in what I was saying. We both like to be out and about doing things - always a new place to explore (and take tea and cake). I like to plan surprises and Sarah likes to cook my favourite pies."

Sarah and Luke will be getting married this year. "We have chosen a stately home for the venue. We were both inspired by the granduer of the setting and plan to make full use of the ballroom as we have been taking lessons together for nearly three years. We're designing our honeymoon around our interests; outdoor weekend in the Yorkshire Dales, four days dancing in Harrogate, then off to the Loire Valley for gastronomic and cultural excess!"

Congratulations to Sarah and Luke from all of us here at mysinglefriend.com (and thanks for the Superlambanana lesson!).
