Thorpe Spark!

Katie and Rob have written in to let us know about their upcoming wedding which will take place the day before a Certain Other Wedding happening in April (clue: future king marries future queen). Katie and Rob picked a fab place for their first date: Thorpe Park. Was it a rollercoaster of a date? It was, apart from all that queueing...

"I remember thinking how tall he was as he approached me at the gate, and what lovely blue eyes he had" says Katie. "I hadn't even thought about all the queueing we'd have to do and how we'd have to fill all that time with conversation. But we got on really well and then went out for dinner."

"I laughed and smiled from the first time I met Katie, " says Rob. "I felt comfortable with her from the beginning and never felt I had to pretend to be anything I'm not. Also, I found her beautiful! After we made it through queueing in the rain for six hours and still wanted to go out to dinner, I knew I was onto a winner."

The pair will be married surrounded by 120 of their family and friends and then will be honeymooning in Mauritius for two weeks.

"They're a great couple," says Katie's friend Loren. "I was thrilled when I found out they were engaged. Everyone is really looking forward to their wedding and I can't thank MSF enough for bringing them together and making their lives so complete. Now I just have the job of being chief bridesmaid!"
