Top 5 success stories of 2011

Category: Success Stories
Author: Karen

It's traditional to end the year with a bit of a reminisce and some kind of countdown, so we thought we'd get in the act with our top 5 success stories from 2011. We love featuring mysinglefriend.com success stories - it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy - and we'd like to take this opportunity to say a great big thank you to everyone who has got in touch this year to share their joy with us. So, without further ado, here they are...

5. Greg and Lori

We enjoyed Greg and Lori's story mostly because their spent their first date at London Zoo. It's a brilliant idea and it certainly worked for these two!

4. Kristine and Karl

Kristine and Karl had their first date on St Valentine's Day. What could have been a high-pressure first meeting turned out to be delightfully romantic and the pair were married in December.

3. Ewen and Susanna

It very nearly didn't happen for these two as, after a two and a half years of dating, Susanna was ready to throw in the towel. However, she decided to go on one last date and lucky for the pair of them that she did.

2. Caroline and Mike

It was first time lucky for Caroline; Mike was the only guy that she dated from mysinglefriend.com and they were married last September!

1. Melanie and Charlie

Melanie and Charlie got in touch to let us know about their whirlwind MSF romance but also the sad news of Melanie's illness. We were thrilled to be able to feature Melanie and Charlie as a success story and also help spread the word about Charlie's impressive John O'Groats to Land's End cycle to raise funds for for research into the rare form of cancer that Melanie is fighting. You can still donate to their cause here.

We'd like to wish all our MSFers a very happy new year. See you in 2012 for more advice, tips, news, features and, most importantly, more of you guys!
