Whistler whilst you work

Meet Dan and Vicky. This snow loving couple got in touch to tell us all about their wedding and baby that’s due any day now!

They describe one of their top moments since meeting each other as getting engaged at the Winter Olympics in Whistler:

“I had not really planned it, and when I said "Marry Me" she turned around, looked at me and said "Are you serious?" which is not really the kind of response you want!” says Dan. “Although when Vicky told me she was pregnant I came back with an equally stupid response which was "Really?".

“We got married on September 11th 2010 in our home village, and then had 3 days in the Malverns - not exactly exciting stuff!  But as Vicky was 5 and a half month’s pregnant, we weren't that keen on flying. We've settled for taking an extended honeymoon in early 2011, once the baby is old enough to fly.”

One final note from the happy duo:

“We realise that a lot of people will read this and roll their eyes, make gagging noises and say something like "Young love - isn't it disgusting?", but until you experience it, you just don't get it. I can't recommend MSF highly enough. Remember - the worst that can happen is that you have some fun.”
