The ten hour date!

Here we have Ben and Victoria, who met on MSF early in '08. Aren't they a gorgeous pair?

Ben sent us this email:

"Due to the nature of my previous job in the army, I had given up all hope of finding a girlfriend, so decided to take a different approach. After a recommendation by a friend, my sister and I joined mysinglefriend...

I busily began searching the site for suitable young ladies and stumbled on Victoria's profile. I was immediately struck by her beauty. I had previously written emails with lots of witty banter, however I now totally ballsed this one up in a giddy school boy kind of way! I thought that would be that, but to my delight she wrote back.

In true army fashion I arrived 5 minutes early on our first date and (as I have since discovered) in true Victoria style, she arrived 40 minutes late. We strolled down the Southbank, and it was clear that sparks were beginning to fly. We then had coffee, coffee led to dinner, then drinks and suddenly it was 0100 - our first date had now lasted about 10 hours! We had our first kiss that evening.

We have now been together for four months and rarely a day goes by where we don't see each other. We are crazily in love and incredibly thankful to Sarah Beeny and the MSF crew for giving us the chance to meet."
