Research has found that men consistently rate themselves as more attractive than they are objectively rated by outsiders. On a site like MSF where there are lots of good looking women a man’s natural tendencies can lead him astray a bit.
Pop on your hat of imagination for a moment and consider this: Angelina Jolie is on MSF. Every single man on the site (and probably a few of the ladies) sends her a mail. Who's Angelina going to go for? That's right, Brad Pitt. There's a reason why they're together – they're both as gorgeous as each other.
What you need to do is widen your net. If Angelina isn't replying to your mails then try contacting some people who you haven't considered before. If you're having a hard time being objective and accepting that you don't look like Brad Pitt, why not get a trusted friend to take a look at the site with you and ask them to recommend some ladies that they think are suited to you?
You just have to be realistic. It’s interesting to note that the most successful long term relationships are those where both partners are a very similar level of physical attractiveness.
