No, You First!

Only 29% of women feel comfortable sending the first message to potential datesThe latest survey of MSFers has revealed that only 29% of women feel comfortable sending the first message to potential dates on mysinglefriend.com.

The thing is, girls, you absolutely shouldn't feel uncomfortable and I see time and again those who are prepared to kick off conversations are the ones getting the dates.

If proof is needed, our survey also revealed that 94% of the chaps are more than happy to be approached, and that this time of year is ideal as the site is bustling with new members.

So c'mon ladies, there's no need to be a wallflower and wait for the messages to flood in; Get in there, as everybody loves getting new mail.

And, to any of you chaps sitting back and waiting for the suitors to come to you, the above statistic should show you that some of the girls on this site expect you to make the first move, so make it!

If you need a little nudge, I have some important tips on writing first messages here and an advice video here. As ever, you can also contact me directly for free, personal one-to-one advice covering any part of your online dating experience.
