I've enjoyed Rick's company for years - he's a good conversationalist and wit (his one-liners sometimes reduce me to tears), generous to a fault and a wiling dinner companion who enjoys a range of wines and cooking styles. He's also one of the most generous people I know, willingly sharing his time and money, including the contents of his well-stocked cellar.

He's educated to post- graduate level in science but is also knowledgeable and appreciative of fine art and music, classical and modern. Don't be put off though, he's not at all pretentious - just mention football if you want proof! He lives in a small village which affords opportunity for his other interests: the countryside, its sports and crafts, history and historical buildings.

He's an honest and reliable friend - my adviser on popular culture, shopping assistant, sous chef and Global knife sharpener, cat sitter, emergency taxi service..... you name it, if help is needed he's always there. And finally, worth mentioning that he's kind to animals and old ladies!

All in all, he thoroughly deserves a partner so, if you enjoy dining out, laughter and maybe even popular culture then I'm sure he'd be delighted to hear from you.
