I've known Nick for a number of years and have come to regard him as one of my closest friends. He is generous to a fault, incredibly loyal and down to earth but also knows how to let his hair down after a few bevvies. Definitely the sort you could take home to mum and dad and will no doubt treat you like a princess (as all women should be treated).

So those are the basics, lets get down to the nitty gritty! Things you should know about Nick:

1) Strange things happen to him all the time - Every time I see Nick something else completely random yet hilarious has happened to him. Previous stand-out offerings have included 'The wheelchair and the escalator' and 'The check-out girl who turned out to be a dwarf'. Needless to say conversation over dinner would never be boring should you choose to date Nick. What I'm trying to say (not too successfully) is that Nick is a genuinely funny guy and a veritable master of the anecdote!

2) He has excellent taste in presents - For the more superficial amongst us (I include myself in that list) Nick is excellent at buying presents. Not only is he generous but he also has impeccable taste so if any of you lucky ladies have a birthday coming up I suggest getting in contact with Nick asap.

3) He has a strange effect on Mothers - MOTHERS LOVE NICK - FACT. Both my mother and mother-in-law are mildly obsessed with Nick's blue eyes and don't mind telling my about it as often as possible.

4) I wish I had his parents - Two of the nicest and most interesting people you could ever hope to meet (if you get that far!?!)

Anyway, if you're still reading hopefully that means I have ignited a flicker of interest. Well, allow me to fan the flames by proclaiming Nick a thoroughly eligible bachelor and all round good bloke so stop procrastinating and get in touch - you lucky devil!
