About him
Generally, I have a sunny disposition on life and always try to see the positive in things.
I have an appreciation of the outdoors, enjoying walking, cycling (road and mountain biking). I was also a competent horse-rider; now I am simply incompetent! (Joke: I think horse riding is similar to riding a bike; once you have it, you never lose it. However, I haven't put this to the test for a while!). I have also tried rock climbing and and flying before. I would like to gain my Private Pilot's Licence in the future.
I am a non-smoker, so would prefer to meet a non-smoker.
I also enjoy more sedentary hobbies, including going to the Pub and occasionally the cinema. I have been known to enjoy attending the odd beer festival too. I enjoy socialising, but also enjoy time to reflect on things.
I love music, so enjoy attending music festivals. My most recent being the Irish 'Feis' festival in Liverpool. I enjoy many different types of music; my taste is quite eclectic but includes rock, blues, pop and Alternative. The genre I listen to probably the least is Heavy Metal and Rap.
I also enjoy reading fiction (and sometimes non-fiction).
I like adventures, travelling to new places; but at heart I always enjoy returning home because I appreciate family.
About his ideal match
I am looking for someone who is kind and caring and has similar interests to me. Having said that, I think it is important for couples to have a few different interests too.
Somebody who enjoys the outdoors is important to me. Somebody who can appreciate the sensitive kind of person would be ideal. That doesn't mean you have to be like that; sometimes opposites do attract and so I think it would w ork where someone is the 'Ying' to my 'Yang'.

I would like to say that Ben is one of the greatest people I have met. We met working at a certain bank 3 years ago and have been friends ever since. He's the sort of guy you know you could depend on if the worst came to the worst and will be there no matter what. I know he was there for me during my break up, and helped me through it. I couldn't be more grateful. He is a caring personality who always make sure he can spend time with his family and friends; these are what are most important to him. Always up for a laugh and loves a good joke, whether it be crude or not. It's hard to not like Ben for who he is, never apologising for who he is, then again he doesn't need to; he is, in truth, a great guy.
He loves his films, and along with myself loves to catch up with the newest releases. He is an outdoors type, loves cycling, although never actually cycled with him, don't think I have the stamina. He mainly does this with his family, his Dad competes in races, and is always there to cheer him on, whether it be locally or on the far reaches of Wales, that is when he can. Always working he is happy in his job, guess he found the holy grail.
I guess the kind of person Ben would be interested in is one who could keep him on his toes, or possibly settle down with, hopefully both.
So in short, I would have to say that Ben is great, caring, fun guy, who above all would go the distance to help anyone who needed it.
