In Her Own Words

About her

I'm Jo! In my spare time I usually am working extra shifts at work as at the moment I don't have much else to's hoping that will change!

I do make time to enjoy walks with my dogs. I have so singing lessons (no xfactor auditions on the cards) as I have always wanted to know whether I can sing or not.

I am currently on a mission to lose some weight so I am on the Cambridge Weight Plan.

I love to laugh and try and enjoy life as much as possible x

Profession: Healthcare Assistant

What Her Friends Say

Jodie said...

I first met Jo when I was 6 months old and she was roughly 6 hours old. I'd like to report that it was best friend-dom at first sight. Sadly, however it was not. We were thrown together at a very young age because our parents were good pals.My blowing out of the candles on Joanne's birthday cake at the tender age of 5 being amongst one of the many misdemeanour's I committed.

However, as the years went on, we decided to put various squabbles over sharing Barbie dolls and fully extinguished candles behind us and we became the best of friends. Though the squabbles did continue. Only it was more 'who is better, REM or Backstreet Boys' rather than 'Give me my Barbie back you bully'! Joanne was my greatest confidante as we went through high school together; peddle pushers, bright silver liquid eye liner and bottles of MD 20:20 in tow. We loved nothing more than to take the 508 bus into town; harmonising Oasis 'Stand By Me' on the back seat. (Incidentally, we both agree that Oasis are tosh now, but you know, it was the 90's!)

Joanne is a kind person who is always there for the people she cares about. Not in a dependable doting puppy sort of a way I hasten to add. She is hilarious when you need her to be. She has a bank of funny anecdotes that have for years made me laugh so hard i've cried. She has a moral code that would rival that of Mother Theressa, but she doesn't take any prisoners either. Amongst her greatest talents are her uncanny ability to spot a wally a mile off, belt out a tune on Sing Star and impersonate the travelling community!

Whilst she loves her homely comforts, Jo is the best festival companion there is. She loves music, is partial to a Bombay Saph and tonic and runs a tight ship when it comes to organising the festival camp. As if that wasn't enough, Jo is an AMAZING cook. And she's super sexy, has the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen and has an unparalleled sense of adventure!

For want of a better word, Jo is ace! See for yourself.
