I'm a warm and friendly 'people person', with a great sense of humour and a positive approach to life. My working and personal lives both tend to revolve around looking after other people..... but there is always room for more. I love my job, which can be extremely demanding but it's also very rewarding. Being a linguist I like to travel whenever I can but am equally at home spending time looking after my young French nephews.
I was brought up in a very traditional way, which may seem old fashioned to some, and appreciate traditional family values and good manners. That being said, I'm not a wallflower or a shrinking violet but haven't been heavily into pubbing and clubbing from an early age ~ that doesn't mean I'm adverse to the idea....within reason!

There was a twenty year gap between my parents so, as one of my friends told me, I'm 'age blind' and not specifically looking for someone of a similar age. I'd like to meet someone who enjoys travelling, music, history, the theatre, eating out etc but who is equally happy getting creative in the kitchen or curled up at home watching a movie.
Being the oldest of three girls with a father who really wanted sons I will happily take an interest in or watch any sport, indoors or out should the opportunity arise. If you enjoy rock climbing, cross country cycling, parachute jumping and other sporty, adrenalin pumping activites, i'll be very supportive but don't expect me to join in.....unless you're very persuasive that is!
