Tony is one of the most amazing people I know. We met in May 2011 during a Neilson Active Holiday. Tony was travelling solo for the first time as his regular holiday companions (his 19 and 20 year old children) had both started university. Tony has a great personality; he is warm, generous, intelligent with a wicked sense of humour, plus he's a bit of a social animal, so Tony made many friends during the week. Tony "threw" himself into many activities: Windsurfing, dinghy sailing, mountain biking, body boarding, kayaking, swimming miles each day, plus indulging in bit of Turkish dancing in the evening. During the holiday, Tony won the sailing regatta at the resort and received an award for windsurfing. Tony is extremely fit and lives a healthy life following an unexpected major operation on his left leg in 1997. This has not stopped Tony living his life to the full. He uses a walking aide, but he is quicker and stronger than many men half his age - you should see him boogie on the dance floor!!! Tony has a passion for Rugby, having played himself in younger years and he was Treasurer of his local rugby and managed his own Colts team for some years. He is very proud of his Son who now plays Rugby for Chinnor. He is also very close to his daughter who keeps him in check. He has a great relationship with both and at short notice travelled around the world with his Daughter last Summer. Next year he is doing something similar with his Son with the added attraction of watching the British Lions in Australia. Tony retired from his profession as an Economics Lecturer a few years ago, and now successfully renovates small properties. Tony has an eclectic taste in music and is an avid Radio 6 listener. Tony has been divorced for 14 years. He is very independent and he's content with life, but like many people, he would like to meet someone special. He really is a wonderful person and I really do hope he meets someone equally wonderful.
