Swiftly glossing over the fact that Mark and I met many years ago at band camp, he's been my closest friend and flatmate ever since. Tall, dark and handsome, ridiculously talented and a dab hand with a saucepan, he really should have been snapped up by now.

Mark is a busy and successful freelance musician, but once he puts his horn away (yes really) you'll discover that he is: well travelled, in spite of his fondness for trying to fly from the wrong airport; has an inexplicable hatred of peas (though apparently mushy peas are fine?!); a newly discovered love of steak and chips at 3am and enjoys following the slow and irreversible decline of Bolton Wanderers.

Despite his questionable stance on the order of bag/milk, he makes a great cup of tea, has the enviable ability to get on with anyone and is generous to a fault - if you're bored in Bahrain he'll even swap identities with you.

Go for Mark if your 'weekend good times' extend to school nights and would like someone intelligent, entertaining, charming. He also has exceptional hair.
