I'm self-employed and work from home so would love to find someone who has a similar, flexible work/life balance to do things spontaneously.... weekends away, days out, visiting friends. Anything and everything.
Sport is quite a bit deal to me, not fanatically and super competitive but I like to keep in reasonable shape. Recently took up golf and surprisingly found I enjoy it, handicap needs a lot of work before I'll be publishing it here though. I also play squash and would ideally like a relationship where perhaps we could share a mutual sport - heads-up though, if you're into skiing or sailing my experience is limited so you'd have to help me out A LOT.
I'm feminine and like to take care of myself and look nice but I'm not massive girly - I'd rather be joining in with the fun stuff. I have two beautiful grown-up children in their early 20s who have both flown the nest. I enjoy a good social life and like to think I'm good company, I'm not a raving extrovert but I'm not shy either. I enjoy trying anything new but some of the best days are just simple; it's had to beat a long walk in beautiful countryside with a couple of stops for coffee and cake. As the saying goes, it's not where you are but who you are with that counts.
Had a long marriage which ended with an amicable separation a few years ago, life really is too short to hold a grudge. After a couple of years of being not-so young, free and single I met a lovely guy on this very site who sadly didn't turn out to be the 'one', but it gives me a lot of hope there are some great people out there.
Oh, nearly forgot to say .. I also look so much more attractive in real life, don't have a single annoying habit, recently won the lottery and am totally uncomplicated (if only eh!).

Well that's the $1m question. Like most I want to be my partner's best friend and for them to be mine. I want to know we can trust each other to be there for each other through all life's ups and downs and make the most of finding someone special at this time of our lives. Most of all someone who is great at communicating because I'm pretty good at keeping my deepest thoughts to myself so I'd really appreciate a man to help me be a little (ok, a lot) more open.
If you want more practical pointers, my wish list would include intelligence, dry sense of humour, integrity and reasonable level of self confidence.
