Where to start? My few words of description will never be enough for you to get to know one of my oldest friends, so here are just a few of the highlights:

Lizzie is the kindest and most caring person I know. Fiercely loyal and principled (in a good way), she says what she means and means what she says. You'll always know where you stand and, if she makes a commitment to any person or thing, there's nothing that will stand in the way of her keeping that commitment.

Not willing to rest on her laurels for long there's always a new adventure in plan, from a holiday to a concert, a renovation to a physical challenge. She's got a very creative head on her and it's always brewing new ideas and plans.

She is a baker extraordinaire! My particular favourites are her INCREDIBLE cheese scones, but the willing recipients of all of her other baked goodies will argue that "their" recipe, is by far her best creation!!

Lizzie's memory is unbelievable (or maybe mine is unbelievably bad). She has superb recall of places, film, music, books....you name it. This means that a) you'll never get lost on holiday b) you'll never rack your brain wondering who's singing that song on the radio and c) she'll always be able to bring a great time you had together back to life in vivid detail.

And finally, just like the Queen, Lizzie has two birthdays. I'll let her explain when you meet her....
