Gareth is a pain to cook for: he's vegetarian and has roughly 735 or so food allergies [I'm guessing here]. Nuts, shellfish, truffle oil (probably), marzipan....you name it, he's probably allergic to it.
But you know what? Don't worry about that - just let him do the cooking! (his brownies are LEGENDARY!)
Because really, this man is a find and why Gareth is still on the market is quite frankly a complete mystery to me.
Who else do you know is kind, funny, someone you can absolutely rely on AND neither a complete player, married off or gay? Exactly.
You will like this man if you have an equally artistic streak - Gareth loves going to museums & galleries and is really rather excellent at creating things himself, whether it's hand carved wooden bowls, amazing paintings or middle class supermarket designs (he's an architect). If you can't find the sumac next time you go shopping, you know who to blame.
He doesn't push himself in the foreground so if you're looking for a party animal who loves being the centre of attention, Gareth is not your man. Unless you get him to dress up for a 'pimps and prostitutes' fancy dress party that is...
He deserves someone who is utterly lovely and who appreciates his wit. The catch? He likes Nick Cave. But then - nobody is perfect.
