I have recently started writing Reviews for a local website which I really enjoy. I am able to attend the latest plays and the opening of bars/restaurants to give my views on the entertainment. It has broadened my scope, because usually you buy tickets for shows / restaurants that you have an interest in.
I have had the opportunity to volunteer for various local groups and develop new skills. I have taken time to work with a local Archive library and also help within a country park rangers group.
I am a friendly sociable person who is at ease in different company & social situations. I have a love for movies including Black& White older films. I have a busy lifestyle at times but also look forward to quieter days. I would love to read more books, but never get around to it.
I love to laugh & have fun, but prefer not to be in the spotlight. I have a close family network that keep me going, and a wonderful selection of friends.
It would be great to start meeting new people, my friends are encouraging me to take the steps into dating because I don't notice when people are trying to flirt.

Nicola is my sister, I could be biased but I will be honest..! My sister is the best sister I could ask for, she is loyal, supportive, caring, honest and genuine. We always look out for each other and help each other when we can, but Nic really looks after me, is there with those kind words I did not know I needed at that time.
We love to have a giggle and always have fun when we go out together, whether it is shopping, cinema or going for a bit of a dance. The night (or day!) will always will be filled with random laughter. My sister is my best friend...but don't tell her I said that, I tell her I have loads of friends and don't need her ;) Truth be told, I am very glad she is my best friend.
The kind of man I would wish her to meet is one that likes to laugh and have fun, we can be serious when it's required but Nicola needs someone to keep her smiling that lovely smile of hers. Her man wouldn't need to look after her as such, she is independent and gets by, but someone to be by her side, to do fun things with but also just to be there. I would probably describe her ideal man as kooky...not weird - there is a difference!
As a partner she would be very loyal, caring, honest, patient and just generally lovely. Anyone would be lucky to date my sister, there would be much laughter and random times.
Now don't be telling her i was soppy...
