I am naturally active and enjoy exercising, but not obsessively so. I’m contemplative, driven but not competitive, ready for a lasting relationship - though not to live in each other’s pockets, as I need my space. I’m very much an introvert and shun crowded / noisy places. I do not meet new people easily…
I used to do a lot of MTBing but I have put this on hold for a few years now, as I’ve bought my dream home in the countryside and spending a fair bit of time improving (I’m very practical and acquiring passable DIY skills). It just makes sense to me to do this whilst I’m not in a relationship. Independent by nature as much as from circumstance, I would however love to share small adventures with a like-minded soul - get back on my wheels, poring over a map and going away to explore somewhere new... I need a regular sense of connection with the natural world, and am happiest when outdoors. I find pleasure in a natural landscape, the passing of the seasons, some architecture, cooking - especially for someone, camping in a remote setting, and above all, being in the mountains.
I'm not keen on popular culture, gossip, reality TV, endurance XC events, gym gerbils as well as real pets.
I am looking for an outdoorsy man, who is emotionally mature, able and willing to communicate feelings, show affection as well as self-reflection. And if you have a bit of hunger for life to boot, I’d love to hear from you!

If you list TV and watching football as sole hobbies, don’t regularly visit the outdoors, or have only a handful of selfies to show for your life, we’re unlikely to be a match. I am really glad to have the opportunity to describe Caroline in the hope that she will finally meet the man she deserves.
I have never met a more driven, independent and fun loving person with a real thirst for life and adventure. She is undaunted by challenge in any aspect of her life and certainly lives it to the full. Caroline is also one of the most caring and loyal friends I have had and has a genuine honesty and openness about life, you will find her incredibly down to earth. She is well educated and intelligent and takes a great interest in the world, especially the environment which she is passionate about, men who do not recycle need not apply.
You will often find Caroline on her mountain bike at the weekend and is usually covered in mud and quite happy to sleep in her tent at the end of the day, she is equally happy with life's luxuries and home comforts from a good book by the fire to fine dining and ball gowns.
One of Caroline's more recent areas of interest has been growing things that she can make into food, the whole thing is alien to me but having sampled her cooking I can certainly recommend it..... I really am hoping that Caroline can meet the right man from this and I will be rewarded with one of her cakes.
What else can I say about her? I have known Caroline since we were students together twenty years ago and we have remained good friends, she is fun driven and sexy, warm hearted and makes great cake. There is so much more to Caroline than 2000 characters can describe, why don't you find out more?
