About him
Hi, a few of my friends have met their partners online so I thought I'd give it a try!
I'm a fairly quiet, laid back character with a dry sense of humour. I always strive to better myself in all aspects of my life from the workplace to on the sports field. My main interests are sport and music. I have a passion for music and play piano and guitar in my spare time. I also enjoy listening to my favourite artists (Coldplay, Alicia Keys, Adele and Rihanna to name a few) and get along to the O2 when I can to watch them perform live.
In the summer months I play cricket for my local team, where I'm actively involved in the running of the club. I've recently managed to raise almost £100,000 for the club through various grant applications and I co-ordinated a series of fundraising events in memory of my friend who tragically died in a road accident 2 years ago. We generated enough funds to build a new scorebox in his memory.
I'm also an avid football fan and am a long standing (and suffering!) Arsenal fan. I try to get down to The Emirates every now and then, but not as often as I'd like.
I'm fascinated by animals and enjoy visiting zoos and wildlife parks. I'm quite well travelled and my favourite places would have to be Sydney and New York. I've also been on some other amazing holidays: on safari in South Africa and to the north and south islands of New Zealand. Other destinations include Mauritius, America, Asia and parts of Europe. That said, there's still no place like home and the bright lights of London town!
I watch a fair amount of TV and mostly enjoy crime dramas or silly humour shows like Citizen Khan and The Inbetweeners.

I'm surprised Mark is single but like most of us with busy lives, it can be difficult to meet people. A hard worker with a big heart, he just needs to find the right person to share his world.
He's fairly quiet but equally self assured. You won't find him falling out of bars at 3am or out with the lads. He would rather get to know someone over a meal than head out for a heavy night.
He can be a little stubborn / determined but that is not all bad. He is not one to give up on something worth fighting for.
Be prepared girls, he loves his sport, cricket in particular so you may wish to join us in the summer for pimms in the club house on match days!
He would never say this but a he's good looking guy in good shape. Works out regularly without being vain.
He's also a talented musician and taught himself to play piano and guitar. Whilst not a performer he is a huge fan of music. Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and generally all talented musicians.
I could see Mark with a smart, kind hearted girl. Ego maniacs and drama queens need not apply!
I am proud of Mark for being independent. He's looking for someone to enhance his life rather than settling for convenience.
If you are looking for a gentleman with a kind heart and soft nature then Mark is your guy. He's fun and quick witted but will not suffer fools gladly.
His biggest fault clearly is the fact that he's an Arsenal fan but we're not all perfect!
