In Her Own Words
About her
I am looking for someone who likes to enjoy life and make the most of every moment, like I am. I love travelling, nights out with friends and generally living life to the full. For the past eighteen months I've been using a wheelchair, but it hasn't stopped me doing all the things I love and, if anything, I've seized more of life's opportunities since I stopped fighting the fact that my legs don't work as well as they used to. It might be a cliché, but sense of humour is probably the single most important thing to me in a partner. I want someone to laugh with and to take what ever life throws at us, enjoying the good parts twice as much as there's someone to share them with and being there for each other when times are difficult. I have loads of friends and I don't need to fill a gap in my life with just anyone, but I would like to make my life even better by sharing it with the right person.

What Her Friends Say
Jo B said...
If I make this too clichéd or overly-nice, Paula will just give the job to one of her other friends. So I want to get it right, not just because she's one of my favourite people, but because she's responsible for me finding the love of my life and I'd like her to repay the favour. In the twenty years we've been friends, though, we've been more likely to exchange affectionate insults than compliments, so this is tricky. Over the years, we've laughed until we couldn't breathe more times than I can remember and have even been asked to leave restaurants so that they could finally close up. But there've been tough times too and the way Paula refuses to let anything hold her back is probably what I admire most about her. So here goes with the compliments... if you get to be part of Paula's life, you'll be the richer for it, she's fun, loyal, intelligent and true to herself. Her dinner party menu might consist mostly of vodka and salt and vinegar Pringles, but I can promise you that being in her company is more than enough to make up for her lack of culinary skills!
