About him
It's kind of hard to know what to right on these, do you try for witty and charming or endearingly self depreciating?
I'm pretty sporty (even though I could lose a few pounds) and I'll try anything once. Except bungee jumping. My true sporting love is hockey but I also have a wish list of countries and places to see before I die. I'm about 1/3rd of the way there, but so far the highlights include 24 hour sunshine in Iceland, Manhattan at night from the top of the Empire State Building and standing 5 miles away from Mt Everest. My motto in life has always been and will always be "Quality over Quantity." So I am not on here looking for just sex or a "friends with benefits". I am looking for a relationship.
I love anything sci-fi, propper rock music, Terry Pratchet books, stand up comedy, cider in the sun and cuddling on the sofa watching films. Of guilty pleasures I have many. But I feel guilty about them, so they're not going up here.
I'm not really sure what I'm looking for in a women. Everyone is special in their own way and sometimes the differences between people are more powerful that the similarities. As long as we can make each other laugh and hold decent conversations i'm sold.
That being said if you like sci-fi or rock music those conversations with you will be amazing.

Trying to describe Dan is like trying to describe good music or a beautiful painting. No matter how hard you try it's still better to see and hear him in person. Dan is my closest friend and there is so much i could say about this guy. He is an incredible person to know. He always has a smile on his face, has a great personality, caring towards others and is selfless. He goes out of his way to help people he cares about and always puts a smile on their face. He is a very patient person (except when driving). He is also fantastic with my two kids who treat him like family, and occasionally a trampoline. He treats everyone as equals and can get along with anyone.
Dan has a great sense of humour but is prone to laughing at his own jokes. He is fun to be around, mainly for the clumsy physical comendy. He enjoys hockey except when I'm scoring against him, and in his free time enjos the Xbox and a good book when not enjoying his friends company. He is shy but once you get to know him he really opens up and his true personality shines through.
He is so oblivious to what makes him a great guy because he doesn't think of himself and I am lucky to have a friend like him. Some of my best days have been spent cruising in his car to a hockey match listening to rock music.
Please take the time to get to know him as this description does not do him the justice he deserves......... you won't be disappointed.
