About him
This is my first trip into online dating and I'm taking the plunge after much badgering from my friends!.
I live in East Dulwich with my two cats and my one elderly, non laying, rescue hen. We're all settling into our new home. In between stripping wallpaper and talking with builders, I have a reasonably demanding job to deal with.
When I'm not dealing with the above, these are some of the things that I love:
Music - I went to Glastonbury for the last two years but sadly missed out for tickets this year. My favourite recent gig was Kasabian at the Brixton Academy.
Cooking - think more Jamie Oliver and Lorraine Pascal than Gordon Ramsay. I love having friends over for supper and once in a while they have to tell me to stop talking and get on with the cooking. I have served the main course at 11.30 before!.
Running, cycling and swimming - I do try and keep fit and did the London to Brighton a few years back, I love swimming in the sea but I can't really say I like going for a run on a cold winter's night!.
East Dulwich - I love the Saturday market, the pubs, the restaurants, the little shops, the parks and also, once in a while, you can go and see what the Hipsters are up to in Peckham.
Friends - I'm lucky that I have some really good friends and I love spending time with my nephews, niece and my Godson. My family is also really important to me.
I'm looking for someone who is kind, thoughtful, active, intelligent and who might push me into doing new things.
I don't really have the time for endless back and forth with messages, I strongly think that you can only really tell if you connect with someone in person, so don't be surprised if I just suggest a low key drink / coffee etc early on.

Matt is one of the most generous and kind people I know. He'll do anything to help his friends, he once hired a van and drove all my stuff down to the sticks and then back to London on a miserable February day.
He loves a night out, and is never happier than when he's at a live gig or festival. His music knowledge is scarily encyclopedic which can come in pretty handy at a pub quiz, as long as you don't mind that he's sometimes got the answer before you've even heard the music.
He embraces all London has to offer and is a big fan or finding something new in the city to surprise people with. He's full of suprises himself, for example, you never know when he's going to jump in the water and swim a mile for no good reason.
He's also pretty good in the kitchen, and I couldn't count the number of times he's hosted a great dinner at his place. Albeit, you may have to wait until midnight for pudding!
