How does anybody meet anyone on internet dating?
Nobody engaged in this type of activity will be honest about themselves... ...they are tempted to embellish themselves in order to boost their chances of attracting a good response!
I certainly wouldn't do that. It's just kind of sad and shallow.......
Imagine, exaggerating their attributes, pretending to be better than they are! Of course I say this as an amazingly interesting, handsome and intelligent individual, who has the sensitivity, empathy and modesty to regard himself a great catch, WHY would I want, or even need to do that ! (god!)
In truth, I have had a very varied and some would say exciting life. I have come to the point where money, power and inflated egos don't cloud my judgement of people. I believe that the best way to get to know someone is in a good conversation over nice cup of tea, ( Jammie Dodgers included!), hopefully with an artistic, sensitive cultured and kind lady. With the right person that would be pretty close to heaven.
Respect is so important in every human interaction. I know you agree.
My partner didn't make it due to breast cancer some 13 years ago and I have found a way of living 'tout seul'; but now am giving it one more try. I like beauty; be it in art, music, the landscape and temperament. I like beautifully composed pictures/photographs. Oh, and I love watching Monty Don! (his dogs too!)
