There is never a dull moment with Sonya around - vibrant and vivacious, caring and generous, kind and loving. She's interested in spiritual pursuits - reading, discussion, workshops. She has a very open minded and open hearted approach to religion and spirituality and is very non judgmental. But don't imagine she's overly serious - she has a playful sense of humour, an easy smile, a friendly disposition, and is really easy to be around. She gets on with anyone - young and old alike. She's got a twinkle in her eye, and bounce in her step, and a wiggle in her hips. She's a very loyal friend and we enjoy everything from walking in the woods or on the beach, sitting in a hot tub talking about anything and everything, to helping each other sort out clutter! When we get together we enjoy good food and meals out - my husband is a great cook, so we let him cater for us. Sonya had her kitchen refurbished recently and she's been enjoying experimenting with new recipes and cooking things she's grown in her little allotment. Sonya loves to travel and has relatives in South America and America. As well as English she speaks fluent Spanish, a little Portugese and is currently learning Italian - Italy's on the bucket list for a trip as is Cuba - we hope to visit Cuba in 2016 as a gang of six, and no doubt Sonya will indulge her love of dancing and salsa her way around Havana! She sings and plays piano - not as often as she would like. She loves culture, theatre and cinema and makes the most of living in London - films, plays, concerts, dinners out, talks. She has even been known to stay up all night to watch the Oscars! She's passionate about health, well being and nutrition - having said that, she might be on a detox juice fast one week, but when on hols she doesn't mind indulging in fine food, from sushi, to gelato, to freshly caught fish. Not a big drinker, a glass of white wine or champagne is to be savoured, as is an odd glass of Guinness or beer. She's a gem.
