About her
I'm adventurous, warm and intelligent, youthful in body and mind (or so they say .. ) and lucky to have some wonderful people in my life, but would love to find that "someone " to share it with as well!
I have a spontaneous and playful side and love being outdoors. I’ve recently relocated to Cornwall (from Warwickshire) and am never happier than when being in, on or by the sea, particularly the Cornish coast and the Greek islands. Cornwall for the wild seas, granite cliffs, and being tucked up in a sleeping bag listening to the rain drumming on the tent and hoping it stops by morning; Greece for the clear warm sea, and waking up not having to worry about the rain ....
I also love hiking, camping, and running. I often help out at Park Run and do 10K and half marathon races most years but increasingly slowly.
I play the piano very rustily, and enjoy singing with others, kitchen dancing, and love the buzz of a live gig whether classical, rock, or folk. My favourite festival is Greenbelt - lefty, spiritual, activist and often a bid mad but wonderfully inclusive. I love reading and writing poetry and getting the knives out over a game of scrabble.
I see as much as I can of my nieces, nephew and godchildren, and enjoy good banter with friends.
A spiritual take on life is important to me, as is concern for how we treat this beautiful world and its inhabitants. I get involved in local community issues and have a keen interest in national politics.
About her ideal match
I'd love to meet someone who enjoys being with people and is also comfortable being on their own, who likes to be active, who is more of a country/sea- lover than a city creature, who will introduce me to their passions, who loves words, and senses there's more to this world than we can guess. Realistically you'll be intelligent and fairly left leaning, with a compassionate interest in this amazing world we live in, but also be up for fun, and a bit of playful craziness!

Caroline has been one of my closest friends since we were at university together. She is caring, sensitive, thoughtful, supportive, great fun and excellent company. She has a gentle sense of humour, which has cheered me up on many occasions. She is highly intelligent and accomplished, with a wide range of sporting and cultural interests, but she is always very modest about her achievements. I treasure her friendship.

I've known my special friend Caroline for several years. What I particularly value about Caroline is her lively intelligence and great sense of humour. You can have a deep intellectual conversation with her, and then find yourself laughing at some trivial point of grammar that you disagree on.
Caroline is a very spiritual person, but isn't someone who would push this onto others. She is adventurous and up for new experiences. One of the best times we have spent together was touring South Africa over a Christmas/New Year for a charity we both support. This was truly a 'working' holiday to remember.
If you enjoy good cooking then look no further. Caroline is an excellent cook and loves entertaining friends. She also enjoys poetry, good literature and has a wide taste in music.
Does she have any down sides?...........well...........Caroline knows her own mind! ...........But I have always found her willing to be cajoled into a different way of thinking using logic and humour!
Above all, Caroline is a very special, loyal friend and I love spending time with her.
