I'm originally from the UK but after 10 years overseas (in SE Asia and Australia) I don't sound very 'from the UK' anymore - or so they tell me!
I'm loving being back, getting out and seeing all that Manchester and the NW have to offer (which is heaps), plus having Europe on my doorstep again. I like to travel, doesn't matter how far, but I like to get out and see what there is in the world.
What I'm looking for in a partner? I guess just that - a partner. I'm pretty independent so someone looking for an other half who is totally dependent on them isn't going to like me much (!) and I don't want to be with someone who doesn't have their own interests and life. I'm looking for someone who sees the funny side of life, whose glass is at least half full and who likes getting out to see what the world has to offer.

Katherine is terrific. She has a real energy about her and loves being busy doing or learning something new, but also loves the occasional lazy afternoon and some trash tv. She's smart (the only person I know who would study Chinese) a lot of fun and great at bringing people together, so it's no surprise she has lots of friends. She is ambitious and independent and I really admire is how she follows her dreams like going to work abroad or starting her own company. Kath isn't afraid to speak her mind, she'll tell you if you are being an idiot. But, really, she is a total softy with a lot of love to give.
