In Her Own Words
About her
I'm sure like all of us, I've struggled with this bit. At first I listed everything I love and love doing - but that just sounds a bit daunting to anyone reading it. So I thought I'd keep it simple…..
I'm a northern girl whose been in London for 18 years. I love going back to Manchester and it's probably where my humour originates, but my heart lies in London - the life and the vibrancy. I enjoy doing a whole load of different things from running to sitting in a proper pub having a few drinks and a laugh with my friends, from fine dining to a cafe full english, from camping in the rain to the snowy slopes and on to the scorching beach. There's enjoyment in everything if you give life a chance - except bananas - I really don't like bananas.
What am I looking for ? - Some fun. Plain and simple - someone with whom I can relax and have a really good laugh.

What Her Friends Say

In the 14 or so years I've known Debbie, she has bestowed upon me three epic life lessons: if you can help out someone else, always do it; if you work hard and work honestly, you'll reap the professional and personal rewards; and most importantly - never EVER leave an excellent bottle of wine unfinished.
Debbie is basically one of the most generous, hard working, fun loving people I know. Whether we're running a 10k together or giggling our way through a good Chablis, Debs's humour, (sometimes caustic!) wit and all round excellent banter guarantees a great time.
Debs is beautiful, super friendly and really thoughtful, the sort of friend that never misses a birthday but never picks you up on your serial oversights. She is an utterly devoted mum, so much so that she coaches her daughter's hockey team and happily beds down for sleepovers in the Science Museum to the delight of her son.
She's also incredibly modest and would roll her eyes if I ever tried to tell her how in awe I am that she takes in her stride a successful City job, runs 11k twice a week. raises two bright and articulate children AND enjoys a good night out - all in a week's work!
I can say hand on heart, Debbie has single-handedly changed by perception of Mancunians - had you told me 14 years ago I would apply the words funny, sassy. witty and wonderful to anyone born east of Warrington, I'd have laughed heartily in your charmingly naive face. Thanks to Debs, I (grudgingly) stand corrected!
