I have known Emma for nearly 15 years, in which time she has been the most amazing and wonderful friend. She is always putting others before herself, making sure that her friends and family are ok, even if this means that she has to travel a lot to fit everyone in. Despite being such a good friend and great company, she still feels that she is the lucky one to have so many lovely friends, rather than realising that they are lucky to have her as their friend.

Her job is important to her and she's very conscientious, to the point of going above and beyond, but she also makes sure she has time to play, and can burn the candle at both ends.

She's independent and self sufficient but, like anyone, she likes to feel needed. Whilst her own family is relatively small, she's considered by many friends to be an important part of their families and is an amazing surrogate auntie to her friends' children.

Emma is definitely an animal lover and loves all things country, however, the odd spell 'in town' can be fun too and she knows how to have a good time. Like me she is one more for smaller groups of people with a long dog walk, lovely views and a pint at the end of the day in a cosy pub.

Emma has done many wild and wonderful things, travelling around the world, visiting and working in some amazing places and making friends for life along the way. She is someone you could trust for a good laugh, a heart to heart, or to roll up her sleeves and help.

Emma is one not to be missed and I am very privileged to have her in my life. I have no doubt that she will make that 'someone special' as happy as she makes me
