I am honest and hardworking, and I like to think I always look on the bright side of life. I'm finally settled back into my cottage after separating from my wife 3 years ago and I really want to make this a happy family home. I'm not a fitness fanatic, but I do enjoy an active lifestyle, walking my dogs and hashing along with squash, cycling and pilates. I'm looking for someone natural and confident in their own skin; an outdoorsy type who is equally happy to cuddle up with a glass of wine or cup of cocoa in front of the fire. It's currently my dogs who get to enjoy my cooking, but I love to cook good meals - it would be nice to cook for two!

Was pretty sure me and Pete were twins separated at birth until I found out I was 6 months older, but if there was two of me, I'd so date him. He is my fellow hasher at my home kennel, so he's not afraid to get down and dirty with the shiggy. Pete's a very positive person, and I often rely on his cheerleading to keep me motivated on a run. He's generous and kind, and such fun to be with; I can only imagine how thoughtful and romantic he must be when you are on a date with him. If you like adventure, he's your guy. Travelling, mountain-biking, snowboarding, kayaking, anything except hunting.
He has a cosy cottage with a real fire to curl up in front of, a motor bike, as well as owning his own business. He comes as a package with his two collies and loves to take them for long walks along the beach; what he needs is someone special to hold his hand along the way and to cook gourmet veggie meals for once home again. Simply the loveliest person I know. Us hash house harriettes all concur that he's a real catch and we can't believe he's still single. Perhaps it's his modesty, but that's just one more great thing about my friend Pete.
