Dave gives the best of both worlds; he's a polite gentleman with good old-fashioned manners, but also a modern 'new man' with forward thinking feminist ideals. He is very well read, highly educated, thoughtful and always up to date on current affairs, which means he's a great conversationalist. Be warned though, he does occasionally mention geeky stuff (Marvel & DC). Certainly not often enough to be annoying, but definitely enough to be noticeable. Dave is friendly, good-hearted and jolly good fun, he's also a great listener and non-judgmental. I'm sure Dave would make a really great boyfriend, and I imagine his ideal girlfriend would be an intelligent and fun-loving lady-geek. I really enjoy spending time with Dave and we speak often. He's a very supportive friend; happy to drop everything and go out of his way to do a favour when needed. He gets on really well with my husband and all of our friends, even my Mum loves him and she's a tough nut to crack!
