About his ideal match
My ideal match would be someone who enjoys similar activities. Preferably not someone who spends excessive time in the gym or lying on a beach all day, ideally someone who enjoys good conversation and is curious about life and exploring places. I'm looking for someone who is able to make me laugh with a good sense of humour. Help prevent me from being on here for eternity (or longer).

Never mind all the razzle dazzle and six packs ladies, if you are looking a for a genuine, caring, loyal and funny guy then look no further. John has been friends with my hubby, Dave, for many years and it was a real pleasure to get to know him. He was best man at our wedding and he brought the house down with the funniest and cleverest speech I have heard (involving a pair of rubber gloves and the biggest bar of chocolate I have ever seen). Having said that, some of his jokes have been carbon dated as pre-Monkhouse!
His attention to getting things right for those he cares about is second to none. He is a romantic soul with a love for being out in the hills and watching old films. He is also our gig buddy if Springsteen is in town. Happy to eat out, enjoy home cooking or grab a Chinese he is happy and willing to try new flavours - including my charcoaled bacon after a night out!!
John is a time-served skilled joiner - so he is good with his hands! A smart cookie, John then went on to do his degree and is now a Chartered Surveyor. A professional guy of real integrity, John is a complete softie when the tie comes off. I see John with someone gentle and loving with a positive outlook. Let him sweep you off your feet with those smiling eyes of his.
John won't be snowboarding or bungee jumping, but he will take you to the top of a mountain (or a big hill ;-)) for a picnic with a view. He will always remember your important dates because they matter to him too.
John is always putting a smile on the face of those around him so it would be great to see him with someone who put a great big smile on his face too.
I know John has so much love to give to the right person, he just needs to find you to make his and your life complete.
