About her
I love my career as a photographer, and when I'm not working taking photos I'm usually taking photos.
My other great obsession, I mean passion, is water. I find that there's rarely a moment of any day which wouldn't be improved by being in water. I have been known to go straight from a long swim down a river to a hot tub and on to the bath.
I'm even combining both passions with a project on outdoor and Channel swimming - so far no cameras have drowned, although one did spend a few hours on the bottom of a riverbed in Devon.
When I'm not bothering pixels or fish I'm very fond of the V&A, ICA and Tate Modern, love to travel anywhere (especially tropical beaches) and enjoy hanging out for lazy evenings with my lovely friends in our book club (= supper club).
About her ideal match
I'd love to meet someone easygoing, with cheeky giggles and twinkling eyes, who's up for fun and frolics. An interest in (or tolerance for) photography would definitely help, as would a love of being in or around water.
Although I'd rather meet someone open to different lives and likes than someone who happens to enjoy the same stuff as me - it's wonderful to find passionate people who can share their passion with you, whatever it might be.
And, to be terribly uncool, caring is so important to me - about people, about the plastic in the sea and about the idiot in the White House.
